How does Fibroblast Spot Plasma Treatment Work?
During the procedure, an esthetician uses a handheld device called a plasma fibroblast pen to create a plasma charge between the pen’s tip and the skin’s natural gasses. The pen then creates an electrical arc that shrinks the skin, causing the tissues to retract and tighten. The heat from the arc also creates small holes in the skin, which encourages fibroblast activity to tighten the skin further. The body responds by sending fibroblasts to the area to produce collagen and elastin fibers, which helps to plump and tighten the skin.
The results are usually visible immediately, but the skin will continue to improve over time as it heals and repairs. Most clients only need one treatment, but some recommend 1–3 treatments spaced 8 weeks apart to achieve results similar to a surgical procedure.
After the treatment, you should moisturize the area twice a day with hydrating and repairing products that contain ingredients like hyaluronic acid and centella. You should also follow a strict aftercare routine to promote proper healing and achieve the best results.
